Hey, I'm Nick. I decided to build Skillbay because I got sick of having to create my own skills for tasks where I wasn't an expert. I'm a software engineer by trade. What I have an understanding of is how to write and build software.

Now, thanks to AI, there are millions more people building software than ever before. I think that I have a lot of expertise to offer them that can be embedded into skills, so that when they are coding with AI, they can get leverage out of that.

Whenever I'm doing something like redlining a contract where I'm not an expert, I want to have the inverse effect. I'm not an expert in contract law, so rather than write my own skill about how to redline, I want to buy one from somebody with that experience.

I believe that what makes skills valuable is people's expertise and experience in a specific field. Most people are not experts in something; they are generalists. Skillbay exists to help people who are truly experts sell skills for what they know how to do best, and help those who are not experts find and purchase and use the highest quality skills for a given task.

If you browse the skills on our site, you can see that they are all high quality. If you want to sell skills, then please fill out the form. We will evaluate and get back to you afterwards. Every skill on our marketplace is audited for quality by myself.
